INS Sunayna (P57) made a port call to Beira, Mozambique.
INS Sunayna, the second ship of the Saryu-class patrol vessel of the Indian Navy entered Port Beira Mozambique, on 28 June.
According to a statement released by the Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) stated, "The ship was received by Mozambique Navy personnel and DA Pretoria, amidst fanfare of military band."
"To enhance Maritime partnership and interoperability, both Navies will engage in professional exchanges, cross deck visits and sports fixtures," the MoD statement said.
The Indian Navy also tweeted a video of the ship entering the port.
INS Sunayna will be conducting a medical camp as part of Indian Navy's community outreach programme.
"On completion of harbour phase, a joint EEZ surveillance with Mozambique Navy is also planned," the MoD statement added.
