Anti-CAB Mobs Go Berserk In Bengal: Rain Stones On Hapless Cops, Set Railway Station, Buses On Fire

Mobs protesting against the citizenship amendment bill in West Bengal have gone berserk following call for protests by various mosques after Friday prayers.

The protests have been reported from various regions of the state including Murshidabad and Howrah.

As reported by India Today journalist Indrojit, the protests have spilled over today (14 December) in Murshidabad where mobs vandalised Nimtita station.

On top of it, the mobs which had vandalised the Uluberia station in Howrah and had pelted stones on running trains, leading to huge damage to public property were at it again today.

In one video, cops can be seen ducking behind their shields as stones rain on them in Howrah district. In another video multiple buses can be seen set on fire on National Highway 117.

A ticket counter in Bengal’s Sankrail railway station was also set on fire by the violent mobs.
