In a first, Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh has become home to a Microbrewery, The Brew Estate, reports The Statesman.
Brew Estate, Shimla Director Arun Singla said, “After spreading our wings in Panchkula, Chandigarh, Patiala and Sangrur we are now here in the Queen of Hills opening the sixth microbrewery to provide a unique experience for gourmet and beer lovers alike.”
The move to start a microbrewery in Shimla is in a bid to cater to the tourist influx at this globally renowned tourist destination and to provide suitable space and ambience with unparalleled hospitality, besides world class beer and exquisite cuisine, he added.
The microbrewery claims to offers outstanding experiences for the tourists in the city, close to the historic Ridge, it offers a fine mixture of modern flair with a rustic medieval appeal.
“Adding to the chain of microbreweries in the north, soon we intend to open a microbrewery in Ludhiana, probably by next month”, said Singla.
“The spectrum of the beers including Red Ale made of roasted German Malt blended with other ingredients adding a Dark tint a rich malt note to the beer,” he added.
