BJP UP Manifesto: Will Explore All Possibilities Within Constitutional Framework For Ram Mandir

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its election manifesto for the upcoming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, and promised efforts to ensure construction of Ram temple under constitutional provisions, a white paper on the exodus of Hindus from Kairana, along with a look at the triple talaq issue.

Speaking after releasing the manifesto, party president Amit Shah, insisted that if elected, BJP would issue a white paper on the reported Hindu exodus from restive Kairana. He also highlighted promises of farm loan waivers and laptops with free data. Free education for girls up to graduation, and for boys up to Class XII have also been promised.

The manifesto calls for exploring all possibilities within the Constitutional framework in construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. "Ram mandir aur vikas saath-saath chal sakte hain," Shah said.

On law and order front, the manifesto promises to put all criminals, who are absconding after 'been given parole, behind bars within 45 days if BJP government is formed in the state. While promising loan waiver to UP farmers, the manifesto made a special mention of plight of sugarcane growers, promising to clear due to the tune of Rs 6,000 crore within three months.
