Coronavirus Update: Covid-19 Cases In India Near 20,000 Mark; Here’s The Latest State-Wise Breakup

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 19,984 while 640 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (22 April) by the Health Ministry.

According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 19,907 Indians and 77 foreign nationals.

Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients has risen to 3,869, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.

The total number of active cases across the country stands at 15,474 at the time of writing this report.
