The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 29,435 while 934 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (28 April) by the Health Ministry.
According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 29,324 Indians and 111 foreign nationals.
Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients has risen to 6,868, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.
The total number of active cases across the country stands at 21,632 at the time of writing this report.

Maharashtra has reported 8,590 Covid-19 cases, the highest in the country, followed by Gujarat’s 3,548 and Delhi’s 3,108.
