A special flight of the state-owned Air India today landed in the capital city of New Delhi having successfully evacuated 263 Indian nationals from Italy’s capital city of Rome, reports Times of India.
The ones evacuated were first put through thermal screening and immigration at the Remote Bay of the Delhi Airport following which they were departed to the Chhawla Quarantine Facility which is being operated by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Coming to the rescue, the Government of India had already evacuated 218 Indian nationals, mostly students, from the Italian city of Milan. The latest evacuation of 263 Indians from Rome comes in addition to the same.
