Only a day after several videos were shared on social media alleging role of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Tahir Hussain in facilitating riots in North-east Delhi, a new investigation has come to light where many crates of petrol bombs and stones were found on the rooftop of the AAP leader, reports India Today.
BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya shared a video alleging the role of Hussain in the ensuing riots.
Earlier, the family of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma who was brutally killed by rioters in Northeast Delhi’s Chand Bagh, has accused local AAP leader Tahir Hussain of being behind the attack.
“Tahir Hussain the AAP councilor is behind the murder of my brother. Anti CAA protestors took my brother and three others to the building which belongs to Tahir Hussain”, Ankit’s brother was quoted as saying.
The family also alleged that the rioters were shooting from the AAP councillor's home and were also equipped with swords and petrol bombs. It added that Ankit was killed by the mob while he was trying to help civilians being trapped by the rioters.
However, the AAP leader has denied the allegations claiming that he himself was the victim of mob violence and was rescued by police two days ago.
