After the West Bengal government refused to give landing permission to his chopper on Sunday (3 February), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take the land route to attend a public rally on Tuesday (5 January) in Purulia of the state.

Yogi’s helicopter will land in Bokaro of Jharkhand and from there, he will head to Purulia by road, as reported by ANI.

Setting the premise for the rally, the UP Chief Minister attacked the Mamata government for its “anarchy” and “misrule”.

“It saddens me that Gurudev Tagore's Karmabhoomi, our Bengal today is suffering from anarchy and misrule of Mamta Banerjee government, now is the time that West Bengal should be freed from this government to protect the Constitution through a strong democratic movement. ,” Yogi said in a tweet.

“And that's why I will stand today in Purulia holding the flag of this movement challenging the alliance of corrupts,” he added.

On Sunday (3 January), the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government denied landing permission to Yogi’s helicopter in Balurghat where he was scheduled to address a public rally. His office had said that the permission was withheld without any prior notice.
