Donald Trump Junior the son of current US President Donald Trump has hinted at running for presidency in the future, Newsweek has reported.
While speaking with Bloomberg, Trump Jr was quoted as “entertaining notions for high office”.
“ As for the future, I never want to rule it out. I definitely enjoy the fight. I definitely like being out there and I love being able to see the impact and the difference that it makes on these people’s lives that I get to see all over the country “, said Donald Trump Jr.
“My father decided to get into politics at 68. I’m 41, I’ve got plenty of time”. He though refused to elaborate on the political office he seeks.
This statement comes in the light of Donald Trump’s ‘exoneration’ by special counsel Robert Mueller who was investigating the alleged collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russia.
Mueller’s almost two year investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election failed to yield any incriminating evidence that Trump or anyone associated with his campaign aided in Russian efforts to sway the election in his favour.
