PUBG MOBILE game became a subject of controversy over its addictive nature for youngsters resulting in its ban not only in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) but also in few districts of Gujarat. The company has now reached out to players as well as all those concerned across the country with a new feature that puts a limit on the time spent on the game by players.
Many PUBG players have reported that the game throws up a reminder if played continuously for two hours. If ignored, the game will repeat the reminder. If the reminder is ignored for the third time, PUBG MOBILE will throw up a 'Health Reminder,' blocking the player for a limited period of time, reports India Today.
Though the company hasn’t released any official statement in the matter, it seems the health reminder feature blocks the player for close to fifteen minutes. Reportedly, only players in India are experiencing the playtime limiter and nobody has reported it from outside India.
PUBG MOBILE is a free mobile game available for both Android and iOS. Launched almost a year ago, the game quickly became popular with its console-level graphics as well as gameplay. The game's popularity went up to the extent that it got its own eSports events.
