Amazon’s internet video on demand (VOD) services, Prime Video has expanded its User Interfaces (UI) to Tamil and Telugu, reported the Television Post. The UI will provide navigation, browsing, and customer support in Tamil and Telugu on the Prime Video app and PrimeVideo.com.
The localised Tamil and Telugu language UI, joins the recently launched Hindi UI, indicating the extent of Amazon Prime’s efforts to provide on the needs of customers. Amazon Prime already offers a lot of content in six different Indian languages-Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu and Kannada.
Users can now discover and enjoy the exclusive collection of entertainment in their language of preference, shows descriptions, dubbing and subtitles in Tamil and Telugu. Further, users can navigate, manage account details, payments, receive customer support and enjoy various features like add to watchlist in their languages.
Amazon Prime users can opt for Tamil or Telugu experience by selecting their favoured language from settings of their application on iOS and Android or the desktop or PC via prime video website. Further, they can opt for their preferred language UI on supported connected devices like Smart TV or gaming consoles like the Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
Once selected, the preferred language will be saved for the future. Users will also have a choice to control and change their language preference at any given time. Further, they can set a different language for each device.
