In a positive development, the nation's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp recorded a strong double-digit growth rate of 13.8 per cent in the bygone month of November as it sold 5,75,957 units of motorcycles in the domestic market, reports Economic Times.
This comes as significantly higher than the 5,05,994 units of motorcycles the company had sold in the year-ago period.
Also, considering the 32-days-long festive period starting from Navratras to Bhai-Duj, the company sold more than 14 lakh units in retail fashion which was a record high. As a result, the company has handsomely led the revival in the two-wheeler industry.
The company believes that the demand for personal mobility post-COVID-19 restrictions will further drive the demand for two-wheelers. The company is also looking at adding to its product portfolio to further build on the momentum.
