Imran Khan’s PTI Considers Inviting Modi For Swearing-In Ceremony

Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) has said that it is considering to invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the swearing-in ceremony, Times Now has reported. It is also said that heads of all SAARC nations will be invited for the swearing-in ceremony scheduled on 11 August.

PTI is set to form the government in Pakistan after forging an alliance with other parties. Following the elections on 25 July, PTI was declared the largest party after winning 115 of the 270 National Assembly seats that were contested for and fell short of the 137 mark which is required for an absolute majority.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had congratulated Imran Khan for winning the elections.
