Jio Fiber Forces BSNL To Adapt, Extends Amazon Prime Membership, Offers 25 Per Cent Extra Cashback

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that it would be offering free Amazon Prime subscription on annual broadband plans above Rs 399, the Telecom Talk reports.

The announcement comes days after Mukesh Ambani launched broadband services Jio Fiber on 5 September. The company said that the new offer is already effective in circles where BSNL already provides broadband.

Earlier, BSNL customers opting for annual subscription plans priced over Rs 749 were able to avail year-long free Amazon Prime Membership. The offer was then extended to annual broadband plans priced over Rs 499.

The Amazon Prime Membership is priced at Rs 999 per year, benefits of which are free and fast shipping, exclusive deals and Amazon Prime Music. The membership can also be availed every month at Rs 129 per month.

Further, BSNL is also running a cashback offer on the annual broadband plans under which subscribers can avail 25 per cent cashback. Customers selecting plans under 499 will get 15 per cent cashback, 20 per cent cashback on plans priced between Rs 499 and Rs 900 and 25 per cent cashback on plans above Rs 900.
