In a major development in the murder case of Kamlesh Tiwari, who was the former leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, a Gujarat court on Sunday (20 October) granted Uttar Pradesh police a 72-hour long transit remand of the three accused in the case, reports Asian News International (ANI).

The development comes after a joint team of the Uttar Pradesh police and Gujarat police had on Saturday (19 October) nabbed the three accused identified as Maulana Mohsin Sheikh (24), Khurshid Ahmed Pathan (23) and Faizan (21) from Surat for their involvement in the murder of the Hindu leader.
