London Bridge Evacuated Amidst Possible Terror Attack; One Suspect Shot By Police

Armed Police were called to the scene of what is being described as a ‘major incident’ on London Bridge, with people being evacuated from the area. Some reports say that it was a stabbing attack, while there were also initial accounts of there being one or more gunmen at the site.

A suspect is believed to have been shot multiple times by the police, and multiple people are said to be injured, as per a BBC report.

The incident reportedly began when a group of men attacked one man, and after this police arrived on the scene to control the situation.

In 2017, a similar attack had taken place when 3 Islamic terrorists rammed their vehicle onto pedestrians on London Bridge and then began to stab people. 11 deaths and 48 injuries were reported in that incident.
