Fearing action from the Indian security forces over possible infiltration bids, the establishment in Pakistan swung into action on Sunday (6 October) to stop large number of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) backed protesters from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) from marching towards the Line of Control (LoC), reports Dawn News.
The Pakistani forces have resorted to usage of shipping containers, barbed wires, electricity poles and also mounds of earth soil to block the march and to stop it. The Pakistani establishment also feared there was a 'serious' threat of massive shelling from the Indian Army at the border.
Meanwhile, upon being stopped from marching to the LoC, a JKLF leader namedAbdul Hameed Butt said that the protestors would stage a sit-in protest until the blockade would be lifted.
