As part of the ‘Bharat Band’ organised by Samyukt Kisan Morcha today, the farmers blocked train services in different parts of the country.
As part of the 12-hour long ‘Bharat Bandh’ today, the protestors also blocked the road at Singhu border as well as the Ghazipur border of Delhi.
According to Indian Railways, protesters are sitting at 31 locations across Punjab and Haryana spanning Delhi, Ambala and Firozepur division affecting the rail movement. Train services are affected at 32 locations, and four Shatabdi trains had to be cancelled.
In Punjab, protestors reportedly blocked the railway track in Amritsar as a mark of protest against the three agricultural laws during 'Bharat Bandh'. In Ambala, protesters blocked GT Road and railway track near Shahpur.
