Twenty five years after establishing diplomatic ties with Israel, India and Israel are now launching a first-of-its-kind collaboration in the cutting edge of information technology (IT) innovation and enterprise including artificial intelligence (AI). Named ‘Scalerator’, this program has a focus on catalysing Indo-Israeli collaboration between the two nations' start-ups so that they can become big players in the global market. The program was, launched by Accenture, the Consulate General of Israel to South India, and the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).

The key technologies identified are cloud computing, artificial intelligence, automation, blockchain and extended reality. The application sectors will be defence, agriculture, deeptech, healthcare & life-sciences and energy. A study of Israeli startups done by Accenture Ventures in collaboration with NASSCOM titled 'Collaborative Innovation: The vehicle driving Indo-Israel prosperity' is the basis of the 'scalerator' program. According to the report 70 per cent of the experts believe that combining the strengths of Indian and Israeli innovators can lead to an incremental flow of innovation-driven investments across both nations in the next three years. The program is also part of NASSCOM’s 10,000 Startups initiative.

The startups under this program will be hosted at the NASSCOM Startup Warehouse in Bengaluru.
