After the major fiasco in the release of results of the intermediate examinations, the K Chandrasekhar Rao led government in Telangana is being duly diligent in valuation, tabulation and release of marks for the SSC examinations which are to be released soon, reports The Hindu.
The Secretary for Education B Janardhan Reddy along with the Director of School Education T Vijay Kumar and the Director of Government Examinations B Sudhakar chaired a meeting of senior officials and directed those responsible for valuation and tabulation to be alert and cautious while checking answer scripts with zero marks.
It was also stressed in the meeting that a re-verification of results should also be done for students who have passed in all subjects, but one. Also, orders for verification were passed for scripts on which no marks were mentioned.
The authorities also underscored the need for the officials to ensure that the examination results link was available to all students soon after the results were released. They also ordered the establishment on an online mechanism for clearing the doubts and objections raised by the students without any hassle.
