Three Indian-origin women have made it to the Forbes’ list of America’s 80 richest self-made women who create new business and amass fortunes, The Tribune reports.
President and CEO of Arista Networks Jayshree Ullal; co-founder of Syntel, Neerja Sethi; and CTO and co-founder of Confluent, Neha Narkhede are in the Forbes ‘America’s Richest Self-Made Women 2019’ list.
Topping the list is Diane Hendricks, chief of ABC supply, one of the largest wholesale distributors of roofing, siding and windows in America. The 72-year-old has a net worth of seven billion dollars.
Jayshree Ullal has been ranked 18th in the list and has a net worth of 1.4 billion dollars. The 58-year old owns about 5 per cent of Arista’s stock. Neerja Sethi, with a net worth of one billion dollars, is placed at 23rd. Neha Narkhede is ranked 60th on the list, with a net worth of 360 million dollars.
