The official twitter account of the Donald Trump led US administration has fired back a salvo at Twitter after the social media website blocked a tweet by Trump on Minnesota Race Riots.
The White House shared a screenshot of Iran’s Supreme Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei glorifying Palestinian Jihad to question why his tweet did not violate Twitter’s policy against glorifying violence.
Twitter had claimed that the tweet “violated company’s policies regarding the glorification of violence based on the historical context of the last line, its connection to violence, and the risk it could inspire similar actions today".
This is the Tweet in question.
Trump had soon responded to this act of Twitter by tweeting that the micro-blogging website is doing nothing about the lies being spread by China and the radical left.
He again reiterated his demand to revoke Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act which largely acts as a shield for the social media platforms against lawsuits.
