US President Donald Trump's tweet alleging his opposition's attempt to "steal the election" was swiftly restricted by Twitter.
The tweet soon went viral, following which Twitter slapped a disclaimer on it saying, "Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."
As seen in the above screenshots, Twitter proceeded to wipe out all the like and retweets from the tweet. Twitter users cannot like or reply to the tweet now.
A few months ago Trump and Twitter were involved in an ugly spat wne the latter marked Trump's tweets with fact-check stamp, including a tweet in which the president raised questions on the integrity of voting-by-mail and suggested that it was susceptible to fraud.
In another tweet today Trump declared that he will win the Presidential polls by terming it a "Big Win". He is expected to make a statement later today.
