United Kingdom (UK)'s Prime Minister (PM) Boris Johnson is said to be planning a visit to India towards the end of April in a bid to bolster the bilateral ties shared by the two nations, reports Livemint.
The visit, if materialised, would mark PM Johnson's first major international trip after Britain's exit from the European Union (EU). He was earlier scheduled to visit India in January. However, he had to cancel the trip owing to an upsurge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the UK.
Meanwhile, PM Johnson and PM Modi are also set to engage later this year in June, as the former has invited Australia, India and South Korea as guests to attend the G7 summit in Cornwall.
