Watch: Rafale Jet Manufactured For The Indian Air Force Takes Off In France’s Istre-Le Tube Airbase

In a first look of the Rafale jet manufactured for the Indian Airforce, footage emerged of the jet taken off at the Istre-Le Tube airbase in France, ANI reported. The video shows the Rafale jet slowly taxing towards the runway and then taking off in style.

Meanwhile, the controversy over the Rafale deal signed between India and France has now reached the Supreme Court of India. The top court had asked for the decision-making process involved in arriving at the deal.

Complying with the order given by the Supreme Court, Union Government on Monday, (12 November) handed over Rafale documents to the petitioners who had earlier asked the CBI to probe into the matter. The documents contain reasons explaining why the government went ahead with the deal.

The allegations by the opposition over this deal, have been met by a strong rebuttal by Dassault Aviation’s CEO Eric Trappier.
