‘We Have To Start Eating Babies’: Supporter Of Pro-Pakistan US Lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez On Climate Change

A supporter of United States Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has claimed that the climate crisis has become so worse that people may have to “eat their babies” to reduce the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

In a video shared on Twitter, a woman attending the townhall programme of Cortez could be heard saying, “Getting rid of the fossil fuel is not gonna solve the problem (of climate change) fast enough. A Swedish professor said that we can eat dead people, but that’s not fast enough,”

“So, I think your (Cortez’s) next campaign slogan should be ‘We got to start eating babies’. We don’t have enough time, there’s too much carbon dioxide,” she said.

“All of you, you’re pollutants,” the woman said looking at the people gathered at the townhall.

The woman added that even if the US bombed Russia, it would not be enough as there are too many people on earth.

“So, we’ve to get rid of the babies, that’s a big problem. Just stopping having babies is not enough, we need to eat the babies, and this is very serious,” the woman said.

The video clip was retweeted by US President Donald Trump’s son. President Trump then retweeted that message with this commentary: “AOC is a Wack Job!”

Cortez, who represents New York City’s Bronx constituency, hails from the progressive section of the Democratic party. She along with Senator Bernie Sanders is a strong supporter of implementing radical measures for controlling the climate change.

Recently, the US Congresswoman was also involved in furthering Pakistani propaganda on Kashmir. On 1 October, she retweeted a video of herself posted by a pro-Pakistan Twitter user, where she can be seen scribbling on a poster during a so-called “solidarity march” on Kashmir in New York. The Bronx Congresswoman also expressed concern on alleged “violence, torture” in Kashmir.
