United States President Donald Trump, on the tenth anniversary of Mumbai terror attack on 26 November 2018, expressed solidarity with the victims and affirmed that US stands with the Indians in their quest for justice, Deccan Chronicle has reported.

“On the ten-year anniversary of the Mumbai terror attack, the US stands with the people of India in their quest for justice.” tweeted President Trump adding that terrorism will not be allowed to win.

US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, in a statement released earlier in the day by the US Department of State, said a reward of up to $5 million will be awarded to anyone providing information leading to the arrest or conviction of any individual involved in the planning or facilitation of the 2008 terror attack on India’s economic capital.

“The United States is committed to seeing that those responsible for this attack face justice. The Department of State Rewards for Justice (RFJ) Program offers a new reward for up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of any individual who was involved in planning or facilitating the 2008 Mumbai attack,” stated the statement.

The statement, calling for accountability from Pakistan for the attacks, further asserted that the US will call upon Pakistan to uphold its United Nations Security Council (UNSC) obligations to implement sanctions against the terrorists responsible for the dastardly attack.
