A few individuals who had gone on foreign trips after telling their family that they were going for work to Indian cities Kolkata and Bengaluru have been caught after coronavirus home quarantine posters were pasted outside their homes.
Now home quarantine measures have revealed that the individuals had actually gone on a holiday to Thailand and Macau, Dainik Bhaskar has reported.
This incident has been reported from Haryana’s Ambala city.
As per the report, as per protocol health department officials began enforcing home quarantine for people who had recently returned from abroad, which included affixing quarantine posters outside their homes.
During this exercise, many individuals have been caught who had told their family members they were going on business to various Indian cities, but had instead gone on a trip to cities like Bangkok, Pattaya and Macau.
This led to heated exchanges within their homes and has also resulted in their family members being home quarantine.
As per the report, one elderly individual who went abroad after lying to his family, tore down the home quarantine posters outside his homes in a bid to save himself from being caught.
He though was unsuccessful and the health officials re-pasted them outside his house.
