The Air Vice Marshal Ravi Kapoor on Thursday (28 February) confirmed that the Indian Air Force destroyed whatever targets it wanted to destroy.
He also added that India has an evidence of the same but the decision to reveal it would be revealed by senior leadership.
With regards to the number of terrorist casualties in the air strikes, the Air Vice Marshal stated that it is premature to come to any conclusion. He though added that the IAF has achieved the result it wanted to achieve.
During the briefing, Major General Surinder Mahal said that Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations and targeted brigade, battalion headquarters but the immediate response by Indian Army foiled those efforts.
He added that mechanised forces have been placed on a standby and assured that the Indian Army is totally prepared for action.
Rear Admiral D S Gujral said that the Indian Navy is deployed in a high state of readiness to deter and defeat any misadventure by Pakistan.
