The Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has taken the control of four five-star hotels in Lucknow to lodge in the doctors, medical workers and paramedic staff who are leading the fight to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, reports India Today.
The four hotels, Hyatt Regency, Lemon Tree, The Piccadily and Fairfield by Marriott are set to be turned into quarantine zones for medical personnel who are at high risk of contracting the deadly virus given the nature of their work.
It should be noted that the administration has also notified several other hotels, guest houses and government accommodations in Lucknow to be prepared for hosting the medical staff and others if the need arises.
Meanwhile, in a bid to contain the spread of the Covid-19, the Yogi government has also decided to quarantine the people returning to UP from other states at hotels and guest houses, not allowing them to immediately reunite with their families.
