News Brief
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed the Mossad spy agency to take action against Hamas leaders globally, extending beyond the confines of Gaza.
As reported by India Today, Netanyahu declared in a press conference, "I have instructed the Mossad to act against the heads of Hamas, wherever they are."
Notably, most of Hamas's top leadership resides abroad, mainly in Qatar and Beirut.
The Mossad, known for its alleged involvement in overseas assassinations of Palestinian terrorists and Iranian nuclear scientists, now faces a new mandate to target Hamas leaders.
Negotiations for the captives' release are ongoing, following the agreed-upon terms.
Despite the temporary ceasefire, Netanyahu emphasised to US President Joe Biden that Israel's campaign against Hamas would persist.
Netanyahu affirmed, "I want to be clear. The war is continuing. We will continue it until we achieve all our goals."
The Israeli Prime Minister vowed to resume the conflict until Hamas is dismantled, and all 240 hostages are freed.
