Delhi Metro Revises Timings For Six-Day Lockdown. Here They Are
- Delhi Metro services are now available from 7 am to 11 am, and 4 pm to 8 pm at a frequency of 15 minutes considering peak hour demands, while for the rest of the day, the services will run at a frequency of 60 minutes.
- Entry is closed at the following stations — Shadipur, Dwarka Mor, Tagore Garden, Rajouri Garden, Patel Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Rajendra Place, Moti Naga Jhandewalan, R K Ashram Marg, Karkardooma, Preet Vihar Nirman Vihar, Supreme Court, Anand Vihar ISBT and Vaishali. However, exits are open.

In accordance with the new lockdown measures, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has announced revised timings of metro services.
Delhi Metro services are now available from 7 am to 11 am, and 4 pm to 8 pm at a frequency of 15 minutes considering peak hour demands, while for the rest of the day, the services will run at a frequency of 60 minutes.
DMRC stated that the services can be availed only by exempted categories of people upon production of valid identity cards.
DMRC has closed entry points to several metro stations in order to strictly limit crowding and maintain social distancing.
To offer greater capacity in compliance to social distancing regulations, metros will run at 50 per cent capacity with no provision for standing.
Addressing live television, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, "Delhi’s health system is at a tipping point with the Covid-19 situation being critical. If we don’t impose a lockdown now, we are looking at a bigger disaster. From tonight, there will be a lockdown until next Monday."
He also said that businesses would be shut and movement of people across the city would be limited to essential services only.
Delhi is seeing 25,000 new cases every day, and the city’s health system is stretched, he said during a press conference.
