Khalistani terrorist Gurpantwant Singh Pannu.
Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has threatened to kill Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Republic Day.
He has asked gangsters to unite and launch an attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Minister on 26 January, India Today reported.
Further, the Khalistani terrorist also threatened to kill Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.
Pannun, the leader of the banned terror outftit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), has previously issued multiple threats against the Indian establishment and authorities.
"I dare Modi, you come to Delhi without your security. If you are a popular leader, come to Delhi on R-Day without security and SFJ is going to avenge the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar by raising Khalistan flag," he can be heard saying in the video, Business Today reported.
In June last year, Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed by unidentified assailants at a gurudwara in Canada's Surrey.
The Centre has banned the SFJ - a group campaigning to establish an independent Sikh homeland called Khalistan carved out of India - as an "unlawful association" in 2019, citing that it was involved in "anti-national and subversive" activities.
Further, the Centre listed Pannun as an "individual terrorist" in 2020, stating that he was issuing appeals to "Punjab-based gangsters and youth" to fight for Khalistan.
