Delhi Police has successfully recovered mobile phones that were intentionally destroyed by Lalit Mohan Jha, the alleged mastermind behind the breach of Parliament security.

The phones were found in Kuchaman, Rajasthan, where Jha had fled after the arrest of four other suspects — Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Neelam Verma, and Amol Shinde.

Investigations have revealed that Jha, assisted by others, had deliberately damaged the phones at a dhaba in Kuchaman.

He was subsequently remanded to seven-day police custody on charges of criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence.

Delhi Police asserted that Kumawat had been associated with the other accused for the past two years and was actively involved in the conspiracy to disrupt Lok Sabha proceedings.

The police informed the court that Kumawat played a role in destroying a mobile phone and crucial evidence alongside the primary accused, Jha.
