PIL In Supreme Court, Lord Krishna Would Have Been Charged With Corruption: PM Modi During Kalki Dham Foundation Laying

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while laying the foundation stone of the Hindu shrine Kalki Dham in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal took a dig at today's culture of filing Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court.

The PM said that Kalki Dham Nirman Trust Chairman Acharya Pramod Krishnam expressed that he doesn't have anything to give to Modi, he can only express emotions.

Responding to this Modi said, "It's good that you did not give anything to me. Otherwise, society has changed such that even if Sudama would have given a handful of rice to Shri Krishna, actions would have followed."

Modi reiterated that it was good that Acharya did not give him anything and just expressed emotions. Acharya Pramod Krishnam laughed at this and folded his hands greeting Modi.
