News Brief
Raveena Tandon
DCP Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 has called the complaint filed against actress Raveena Tandon "false" after checking the CCTV footage of the society.
Mumbai police claimed that in the CCTV footage, the actress's driver can be seen reversing the car and then the complainant's family stops the car and starts arguing with the driver.
"This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver," the DCP said.
However, later, they also submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints, as per the DCP. Nobody was injured in the incident as the car did not hit anyone.
Rajtilak Roshan also clarified that the actress was not drunk, as was alleged and reported by some media portals.
A video had gone viral where Raveena Tandon was seen requesting people to calm down and was heard saying, "Don't hit me," while a woman in a hijab was making allegations against the actress.
