Delhi Police on Sunday (19 May) seized the CCTV DVR from the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a day after his personal secretary Bibhav Kumar was arrested for allegedly assaulting Swati Maliwal.
A team of Delhi Police including Additional DCP Anjitha Chepyala and Station House Officer Civil Lines arrived at Kejriwal's residence in the afternoon while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was staging a protest.
Yesterday, Kejriwal announced that he would be marching to the BJP headquarters with AAP leaders in opposition to the 'ruling party jailing' many AAP leaders like Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain and Kejriwal himself.
DCP Delhi Central, Harsha Vardhan Mandava said, "We stopped them as 144 CrPC has been implemented and we asked them to disperse, adequate police arrangements are in place."
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Maliwal had alleged that Kumar slapped her seven to eight times and kicked her in the pelvic area at CM's residence. The medical report confirmed bruises.
