On Friday (15 December), Jagdeep Dhankhar, the chairman of Rajya Sabha, issued a warning to Raghav Chadha, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Chadha was reprimanded for his protest and hand gesture made during a point of order, amidst the turmoil surrounding the opposition's call for a discussion on the security breach in Lok Sabha.

The dissenting Members of Parliament have called for a halt to the planned activities of the day to delve into the "grave situation resulting from a security breach" in the Parliament on 13 December. However, Dhankhar did not sanction these notices and continued with the Zero Hour.

At this juncture, the full Opposition broke into an uproar, commencing to chant slogans. Concurrently, Chadha attempted to bring up a point of order through a hand signal.

Chiding the AAP MP, Dhankhar continued, "Express your thoughts verbally rather than through hand gestures. There is much for you to learn at this time. It appears you will also start dancing soon. Please remain seated and silent. This House has already reprimanded you."

During the Monsoon session of Parliament in August of this year, Chadha was suspended from the Rajya Sabha for providing "misleading" information to the press. His suspension was lifted on 4 December via a motion, and he was subsequently permitted to participate in the proceedings.
