Amid ongoing discussion over the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, the longest-serving BJP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed a gathering in Chhindwara on Wednesday (6 December).

He said, "From today we are starting 'Mission 29' for Madhya Pradesh. In Vidhan Sabha elections, I never slept more than two hours. I worked for 22 hours. Similarly, I won't relax in Lok Sabha elections."

Chouhan asked the crowd whether they want to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister again. After getting yes as the answer, he said that to ensure this, the people need to make BJP victorious at all 29 Lok Sabha seats of the state.

In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won 28 of the 29 seats, except the one seat of Chhindwara where Kamal Nath's son Nakul Nath won by a margin of over 37,000 votes.

Highlighting the slogan of 'Modi hai to mumkin hai', Chouhan praised the Modi government's efforts in Jammu-Kashmir and raising India's stature at the world level. He thanked the people for grand victory in Madhya Pradesh.
