Telangana exit poll
India Today Axis-My India revealed its exit poll for Telangana on Friday (1 December), a day after the voting. It predicts a clear majority for the Congress.
The prediction says that Congress might get 63 to 73 seats in the 199-seat assembly, while KCR-led BRS will be a distant second with 34 to 44 seats.
The seat estimates for BJP is four to eight seats, while for Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM is five to seven seats. Notably, other exit polls predicted aclose contest between Congress and the ruling BRS.
The CNN exit poll has predict hung assembly in Telangana with Congress getting 56 seats and BRS bagging 48 seats. BJP is likely to secure victory on 10 seats.
Meanwhile, Chanakya Strategies Exit Poll has predicted a Congress victory in Telangana, predicting 67-78 seats for Mallikarjun Kharge-led party. BRS is predicted to get 22-31 seats and BJP bagging 6-9 seats.
As per Jan Ki Baat data, Congress is likely to win 48-64 seats, BRS expected to win 40-55 seats and BJP will secure 7-13 seats.
The India TV-CNX exit poll projected that the Congress is likely to wrest power from KCR's Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). According to the exit poll, BRS may win 31-47 seats, while Congress - 63-79. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may bag 2-4 seats.
