The conclusion of the fourth Republican Presidential Debate saw four contenders vying for the party's presidential nomination through a rigorous selection process.

On stage for the contest were Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, Ron DeSantis, the current Governor of Florida, and Chris Christie, the former Governor of New Jersey.

During the fourth Presidential Debate, Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis emerged as the front-runners, with Ramaswamy seizing the most speaking time just half an hour into the discussion.

Meanwhile, Nikki Haley maintained a relatively quiet presence, yet remained the focal point and target of critiques from her debate opponents.

The competition between Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy was tight, marked by nearly equal amounts of speaking time. However, the duration of speech isn't the only measure of a candidate's competence.

The ability to make persuasive arguments within their allotted speaking time can potentially influence voters and tip the scales in their favour during the voting process.

During the fourth Republican presidential debate, Nikki Haley defended her decision to accept corporate money.

The Republican debate kicked off with a flurry of accusations directed at Nikki Haley, as Ron DeSantis launched an attack on her, saying, "She caves anytime the left comes after her,".

Vivek Ramaswamy criticized Haley for seemingly acting according to donor interests, highlighting that she joined Boeing's board following her tenure as the US ambassador to the United Nations. He also drew parallels between her and Hillary Clinton due to her involvement in paid speeches.

The candidates reportedly aimed to halt the progress Nikki Haley was making in the presidential debate. Haley's ascent has been linked to her strong performances in the preceding three debates, and her position is further bolstered by a significant endorsement from the influential Koch family and a $250,000 contribution from Reid Hoffman, a billionaire Democratic donor.

In the fourth debate, there was a fiery exchange between the front-runner, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Chris Christie.

Christie, the former Governor, charged Ramaswamy with inconsistency on his stance regarding the Ukraine war, alleging that Ramaswamy's resolution plan involved ceding all the Ukrainian territory that Russia had occupied.

However, the Indian-American businessman refuted this, stating that his proposal was not as Christie had described.

"You do this at every debate. You go out on the stump and you say something, all of us see it on video, we confront you on the debate stage, you say you didn't say it, and then you back away," Christie responded.

Chris Christie also questioned his opponents over their stance on sending US troops to Gaza in the ongoing war in the region and said he would "absolutely" send US troops to rescue American hostages and slammed Ron DeSantis for not responding to the question directly.
