May 2024 issue
Dear readers,
Remember when we told you about our new travelogue ‘Hridayapath’ back in April?
Banuchandar Nagarajan has just finished this tough 2000+ km road trip and his entire trip has been documented in our monthly print magazine. In fact the May 2024 issue is the Hridayapath special and contains the full travelogue - 14 parts in total!
Allow us to explain Hridayapath 2024. This is the only such road trip through the poorest regions of India, bringing you perspectives and visuals from a first person view.
The goal was to discover the true pulse of Bharat—what are the aspirations of the poorest Indians? Have they received all the welfare benefits aimed at them? What do they think of the government?
From talks about development and government programs to capturing the lively culture of these areas, this issue has everything for you.
The Route: Delhi - Pilibhit - Kushi Nagar - Kishanganj - Cooch Behar - Mokokchung - Kaziranga - Kokrajhar - Begusarai - Bharatpur - Delhi

Postscript: There’s an interesting nugget in the finale of the travelogue. Traveling on a newly built expressway, Banuchandar couldn't help but notice similarities between this highway and the roads he had experienced in the US.
Where was Banuchandar?
Driving on the Purvanchal Expressway!
“This is the best road I’ve been on, a harbinger of prosperity, connecting people, exchanging ideas and goods.”
