<p>On Monday (3 July), Prime Minister Narendra Modi <a href="https://www.livemint.com/politics/news/pm-narendra-modi-to-chair-meeting-of-council-of-ministers-today-amid-cabinet-reshuffle-buzz-11688360411134.html">will chair a meeting</a> of the Union Council of Ministers amidst a heightened hustle about a possibile Cabinet reshuffle following a series of meetings of the ruling BJP's top brass.<br><br>The newly built convention centre at Pragati Maidan, Delhi is expected to host the meeting on Monday.<br><br>On 28 June, PM Modi held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda, and others to assess the state of organisational and political affairs.<br><br>The upcoming assembly polls will also be taken into consideration during any Cabinet reshuffle.<br><br>The BJP has been actively preparing for several state polls scheduled this year. Later this year, elections are due in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Mizoram.</p>
