Woman demonstrator apprehended outside parliament
Two individuals breached the security within the Lok Sabha premises when parliamentary proceedings were underway on Wednesday (13 December).
One of these two intruders is identified as Sagar Sharma, who entered the Lok Sabha with colour crackers in his shoes. The visitor pass was reportedly issued to him by BJP Mysuru MP Pratap Simha.
The other intruder's name is Manoranjan who is 35 years old. While Sagar is said to be an engineering student, Manoranjan is an engineer by profession. However, it is yet to be determined where they are from and what motives led them to carry out the mischief.
In a separate incident related to the security lapse, two individuals staged a demonstration outside the Parliament. The demonstrators began chanting slogans against authoritarianism saying, "Tanashahi nahi chalegi."
All four individuals involved in these incidents are believed to belong to the same group, Jagran reported. Various agencies are conducting inquiries into how and when these individuals reached Delhi.
n a few hours, a decision will be made on the legal charges against them and in which police station the case will be registered. Due to the heavy presence of media personnel outside the Parliament Street Police Station, the main entrance has been barricaded.
DCP Rajiv Ranjan Singh of the Special Cell has arrived at Parliament Marg Police Station with his team. Investigations are ongoing to determine if these individuals are associated with any organisation.
