The initial ABP-CVoter opinion poll on Rajasthan elections presents an intriguing scenario. This time, the Congress is expected to garner a higher vote share, but it might face a substantial defeat in the polls.

According to the ABP News-CVoter survey, Congress is projected to secure 41 per cent of the vote share, a 1.7 per cent point improvement from its performance in the 2018 assembly election when it fell just one seat short of a majority.

Despite this increase, the Congress is unlikely to secure victory as the BJP is poised to outperform them with a projected vote share of 45.8 per cent - a significant 7 per cent point surge from its 2018 performance.

Coming to the number of seats, the BJP is expected to win between 109 and 119 assembly seats, surpassing the majority mark of 101 seats comfortably.

On the other hand, the Congress is projected to secure 78 to 88 seats in the legislative assembly. The BSP does not seem to have much hope, with a projected seat count ranging from zero to two.
