What Has Been The Impact Of The UJALA Programme?

The Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All, or UJALA, was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1 May 2015.

The scheme sought to make it easy for households to switch to LED bulbs and, in the process, save electricity and lower their power bills.
