It simply ain’t civil. To impose a wazukhana atop a grand deity of a major faith. A wazukhana is a place made inside mosques for washing of limbs and more before offering prayers. Such an act obviously means that in a mosque they do not expect anyone to go before God for prayers unless they have dumped their uncleanliness.
That fact makes the existence of a wazukhana atop/around a Shiv Linga among the most malicious conspiracies.
Conspiracy is a punishable offence in criminal law, not civil law.
To continue to perpetrate this conspiracy that may have been initiated 350 years ago in the reign of Aurangzeb should be seen as crime and all those who continued to perpetrate such an act of hatred should be seen as equally guilty.
How is it possible at all that those managing the said mosque at Gyanvapi had no idea at all that such an imposing Shiv Linga had been hidden in the well inside the wazukhana?
If regular cleaning up of the wazukhana had been happening, and it must have happened many times, then how is it possible that the generations of the committee members/ trustees never knew about it?
To initiate or to continue to perpetrate or to facilitate an ongoing conspiracy earns the same ire of law on all. Every passing hand that facilitates the continuation of a conspiracy is charged and the crime cannot be attributed merely to any one person who may have initiated it.
When the conspiracy is clearly vicious and hurts the religious sentiments of the people of any religion it is a crime. The statutes are clear.
If those who continued this conspiracy are allowed to go free, it would be undermining the law of the land deeply.
Upon establishment of the fact that it is indeed is a genuine Shiv Linga, there must be deep investigations into this heinous conspiracy of desecrating another's faith and inculcating hatred for the devotees of Shiva.
This clearly is no longer a mere civil matter where for decades a title suit will go on. It's one of the worst crimes ever and not only the people of India are at risk in suffering a deep dent in their mind regarding the Majesty of the Law of our Land but there is also the risk that the world at large shall see India as a state that has failed to uphold the dignity of its own laws.
