Ahead of the inauguration of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) train, the stations of the priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RapidX corridor were lit up in tri-colour.
Gearing up for the big occasion, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot stations on the priority section of the Delhi-Meerut Corridor have been decorated.
Tri-colour lights have been beautifully placed on the railings of the concourse level of these stations and on the railings of the foot-over-bridges connecting the entry-exit gates to the station.
In the evening, all these stations are lit up, due to which they have also become a centre of attraction for people.
Along with this, tri-colour lights have also been installed near the pillars under the main line stations. It is noteworthy that the outer areas of these stations have been prepared with peacock-blue coloured facade.
For the first time in a public transport system, stations have been designed with an eye-catching aesthetic.
The RapidX trains are expected to be operational at these world class stations soon. The length of this section is 17 km and it has Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot stations.
