Another Vande Bharat express train connecting Secunderabad and Nagpur is anticipated to run soon. There are currently two Vande Bharat Express trains operating from Secunderabad, one to Visakhapatnam and the other to Tirupati.
These two trains have proved popular with city rail passengers, with an occupancy rate of at least 100 per cent throughout the week.
The Vande Bharat Express is expected to reach a top speed of 130 kmph.
There are currently approximately 25 trains travelling between Hyderabad and Nagpur, both of which are commercial and business areas. All are, however, express trains rather than super-fast trains. There is a lot of trade going on between the two cities, and there is a lot of traffic on any given day.
The distance between Secunderabad and Nagpur is approximately 581 km, and it typically takes 10 hours to complete the journey. With the introduction of the new Vande Bharat train, the journey is expected to be reduced from 10 hours to 6.30 hours.
According to South Central Railway (SCR), bookings for these trains are also filling up due to high demand. With the success of these two services, the Indian Railways is preparing to launch the Vande Bharat train between Secunderabad and Nagpur in the coming months.
According to the Telangana Today report, railway officials have also finalised the route of the Vande Bharat train. It will travel from Secunderabad to Kazipet, Ramagundam, Sirpur Khagaz Nagar, and Balarsha.
The Vande Bharat Express is expected to leave Nagpur at 6am, arrive in Secunderabad at 12.30pm, and return to Nagpur at 8pm on the same day.
In this context, an official declaration is likely to be out.
